Delegate elected from New Jersey
Through our Global Director Maria Andreina Zuluaga as New Jersey delegate to the Refugee Congress, they advocate for local, state and national policies and programs that promote the well-being, integration and dignity of refugees and asylum seekers in the US. We educate and encourage the public and policymakers to adopt policies that welcome refugees and support their success.

The Refugee Congress is a national non-partisan organization created and led by former refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants to promote the well-being and dignity of all vulnerable migrants.

Our Global Director María Andreina Zuluaga, along with social workers, support immigrants by providing mental health resources, advocating for immigrant students, encouraging employment and professional development, informing them about their legal rights, and guiding immigrant families to resources for food, medical care and housing. OVJNU GLOBAL together with sister organizations and volunteers carry out various activities to support migrants mainly from Latin America and Africa
